Winter Warmers
So after a rather mild December, it seems winter has officially arrived with the New Year. One of your New Year Resolutions may be to try and be healthy and luckily we have a fantastic selection for you as you may have seen in our previous blog. However with all of this chilly weather, we know the last thing you may want to eat is a salad, so it’s a good thing we have some warming, healthy and hearty choices for you then isn’t it!
We always serve a soup of the day, full of fresh and yummy produce and you really can’t go wrong with soup on a Winter’s Day. One of the most popular dishes, our Fish Pie is a sure fire winner. A home comfort style dish and filled with fish, along with kale – a superfood don’t you know!
A wonderful nutrient-balanced meal is our Lamb and Egg Saag Aloo. Bursting with flavour and packed with goodness, this will leave you with a warm feeling in your stomach.
If you need an extra something, why not add a herbal tea into the mix. Fresh, fruity and full of zing. Peppermint is always a good choice and perfect after a meal to aid with digestion, and will lift your senses. Or so they say!
